Using One Computer with 30 Students

I have just one computer in my classroom. There are computer suites in the school that are sometimes available; however mostly I use my one computer. I find that in computer projects much time is wasted in input if one student is sitting infront of the computer typing or arranging photos. One way around this is to have the students compose the content on paper, photograph this, then have the students upload this to the web.
I believe the learning happens when the students try to explain what they are doing and their knowing that what they produce may be seen by others (than the teacher) motivates some to do their best work.
